Coram Family Lives is offering a free self-guided online parenting course for parents dealing with defiant, violent, risk-taking or aggressive behaviour in teenagers.
The parenting course is suitable for parents of children aged 11-18, who are showing difficult, defiant, risk-taking or aggressive behaviour. It has been developed by experienced parenting professionals and is full of strategies for dealing with challenging behaviour, improving your relationship with your teen and keeping yourself safe in aggressive or violent situations. Topics covered include:
- Defiant behaviour
- Aggression and violent behaviour
- Communication and setting boundaries
- Looking after yourself and strengthening the bonds
Parents can work through the course at their own pace. It takes approximately 2 hours in total.
